Abstract
The testacea inhabiting marine sandy beaches of Guadeloupe and Martinique have been observed. Eleven coral and seven volcanic beaches were sampled. Twelve named species were found and one new species is described: Pseudodifflugia delamarei n. sp. All are psammobionts and known from European shores. Several forms of Lagynis and Lagenidae were found. Their systematic position is uncertain.
