Sixty species of testacea have been detected in the sediment of the Finstertaler Seen. Four new species and one new variety could be established. Most of the species listed in the table may be, according to our present knowledge, considered as typical for the sediment of lakes. Some typical sediment-inhabiting genera are absent (Arcella, Campascus).
