Abstract

The Atlantic sublittoral psammal at the depth from 5 to 45 m is studied. At all 14 testate amoebas are found, most of them belonging to the specific mesopsammal zoocenose. Four new taxa are described, namely: Propsammonobiotus atlanticus n. gen. n. sp., Sudzukiella marina n. gen. n. sp., Micramphora compressa n. sp. and Rhynchogromia elegantula n. sp. Some data of their morphology, taxonomy and ecology are discussed.
